Google released version 4.0 of the Panda Algorithm globally, the fourth major Panda update. And the chatter is that it is not just a regular data refresh but a bigger update of the actual algorithm. The new version will adopt new tactics to identify and capture websites susceptible to Panda Penalty.
Google Panda 4.0 will affect different languages to different degrees. For example, the affect on English queries will be ~ 7.5% of the queries that are affected to a noticeable degree. Google also draws attention to the latest change as a key part of its search engine armoury to continually improve Google’s search engine results.
Since its introduction in February, 2011, Google’s Panda Algorithm has been impeding websites with poor quality content from reaching the top position in Google’s search results. The effort to provide searchers with the best results possible paid off potentially over time as it helped a lot to remove low quality websites from search engine results. The “Panda tremors” will not only see spammy websites being pushed down the line but will also experience major drop in traffic.
The “Panda Algorithm” has made it mandatory to do proper SEO on the website level as well as on the content level to avoid being penalised.
