New Vision Digital’s Digital Enthusiasts Visited NGO

It was a usual day at New Vision Digital when Mr. Gagandeep, one of our employees, initiated an idea to visit an NGO named LECIN (Let’s Educate Children In Needs) to support their children in education. As he was a volunteer with LECIN, he acted as a bridge between our company and the NGO for a casual meet. Our CEO, Mr. SumitTayal, along with other senior managers went out for a visit to the organization, located near Indraprastha metro station on August 14^th, 2016, around 1 PM. The motive of our visit to LECIN was to impart basic knowledge to the children.

There were around more than 25 students present over there along with the Director of LECIN, Mrs. Nupur Bharadwaj and a few teachers. Mrs. Bharadwaj through her warm gesture welcomed the NVD team with zest and zeal. On the occasion, our CEO Mr. Sumit Tayal delivered a short speech on education and why it is important for everyone. He asked children what they like to study and what their interests were.

Stationery materials and few books were also distributed to the children. To make this get-together more exciting and cheerful, we asked children to make drawings and paintings. All students were filled with joy and actively showed a great deal of interest in the same. After completion of the on-the-spot competition, prize was awarded to the student with the best drawing.

Furthermore, the visiting team of NVD also organized a few indoor games such as carom and chess for the children. This made a quite healthy and joyful ambiance and it was truly a joy to see smiling faces of children. The game continued for around one hour and after that, we provided refreshments including snacks, sweets and cold drinks to them.

We are very proud of contributing our time to a space other than our work and this is what makes NVD different from others. We are always ready for any contribution in a social cause in future!
